Since the launch of Shooting Star CHASE earlier this year, we are already seeing the benefits of a more responsive service.
We are delighted to be able to take the next step in our journey to extend our Hospice at Home service and give every family we support more opportunity to get the care it needs at home. But we still need your help to reach our £400,000 target for this campaign.
Key to Care
‘Key to Care’ aims to raise vital funds to increase our Hospice at Home service.
We are delighted to announce that we are now able to extend our Hospice at Home services, supporting more families in their own homes, which is often where they want to be most.
In July we will begin work to extend the Hospice at Home team extending our Consultant in Paediatric Palliative Care availability, in addition to more nurses, carers and therapists to ensure we provide the most comprehensive, inclusive and effective home support of any children’s hospice service in the country.
Your support of our Key to Care campaign has been vital in enabling us to achieve this, but we still need your help. We are asking local people to support the campaign by giving £2 per month.
Our current funding levels mean that if we respond to a family in a crisis, a family somewhere else may not get their planned monthly visit they have been desperate for.
We need your help to give every child and their family the care they desperately need and deserve at home. Medical advances mean our support can be needed for many years which is why regular gifts are so important.
Please help us enable sick children and teenagers to be at home. We have lots of different ways you can get involved from making a donation to fundraising at work, school or with friends.
