Mohamed Al Fayed has spent a festive afternoon with children and families staying at our Hampton hospice, Shooting Star House.

Once a long term supporter of both The Shooting Star Children's Hospice and CHASE hospice care for children, Mr Al Fayed continues to regularly donate to Shooting Star CHASE via the AlFayed Charitable Foundation, which he set up with his daughter Camilla to help children with life threatening illnesses or living in poverty.

Following a tour of the hospice Mr Al Fayed spent time meeting the children and their families, and giving out Christmas presents including special edition Harrods bears and sweets.

Karen Sugarman, Director of Specialist Fundraising said: 'As ever we are so grateful to Mr Al Fayed and the work of the AlFayed Charitable Foundation for their continued support, which allows us to make every Christmas a very special one for the families we care for. It was wonderful to be able to show Mr Al Fayed the work we do at Shooting Star House, and just how invaluable his generosity is to Shooting Star CHASE.'
