Saturday, 1 April Bucket Collection, Tesco, Escot Road, Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 7BB, 0900 to 1100, 1100 to 1300, 1300 to 1500, 1500 to 1700
Saturday, 8 April and Sunday, 9 April, Surrey University 24 hour Fencing Event, Senate House, Stag Hill Campus, Guildford, GU2 7XH, running a stall with merchandise. Volunteers needed morning and afternoon both dates.
Sunday, 16 April, Tulip Festival Dunsborough Park Garden Teas, We need volunteers to serve refreshments, wash up and pack away and also cakes to be baked in advance be sold at this event. Please label cakes if they contain nuts. Cakes to be dropped at Bridge House, Addlestone or Shooting Star House by 11 April or to Christopher’s, Guildford by 12 April for sale on Sunday, 16th.
Sunday, 23 April, Virgin London Marathon, 0900 to 1500 cheering our runners along the route. Cheering points will be at Canada Water, Tower Bridge and Embankment. Any times between these hours is appreciated – friends and family welcome.
Saturday, 29 April, Picnic on the Pitch, Godalming Town Football Club, Godalming GU7 3JE, 1100 to 1330 or 1330 to 1600, helping with tombola, tickets, bucket collecting.
Sunday, 7 May, Ockham Veterans versus Chelsea Old Boys Charity Football Match, Woking Football Club, The Laithwaite Community Stadium, Kingfield, Woking, Gu22 9AA 1230 to 1800, Taking payment for tickets, bucket collecting, selling merchandise and raffle tickets. You get to see the match and we need as many volunteers as possible.
Friday, 12, May and Saturday, 13 May, Guildford Wine Festival, Guildford Cathedral, GU2 7UP, Checking tickets, helping with raffle and serving drinks. Friday 1900 to 2300, Saturday 1200 to 1600 and 1900 to 2300. Ten volunteers needed for each time slot.
Tuesday, 23 May, Antiques Valuation Day, Christ the Prince of Peace Church Hall, Portmore Way, Weybridge KT13 8JD. 1030 to 1330 or 1330 to 1630. Serving refreshments, clearing away, selling merchandise on our stall.
Sunday, 4 June, Sunrise Walk, Ham House, Hampton Court/Richmond Area. 0500 to 0800, 0600 to 1100 Helping with registration, refreshment and particularly marshalling along the route.
Tuesday, 4 July, Summer Charity Concert, Guildford Baptist Church, Millmead, Guildford GU2 4AZ, 1300 to 1700. Bucket collecting, serving refreshments, and selling merchandise. We also need home-baked cakes for this event. Please label if they contain nuts.
We have a special request from one of our Friends Groups who are organising a Pamper Evening on Monday, 24 April and urgently needs therapists to help with manicures, facials, reflexology or massage. Your own insurance is required. From 1900 to 2200 in the Chertsey area. Please contact email@example.com for more details.
We are also looking for collectors particularly in the following areas: Crawley. The role includes collecting full cans and replace with new cans in businesses local to these areas.
